BIOGRAPHY

I received my Ph.D. from the University of California-Berkeley in 1966, after which I served a postdoctoral fellowship at the American Museum of Natural History. I have been at Syracuse University since 1967.

I teach BIO 345: Population Biology, BIO 419: Junior/Senior Honors Seminar, BIO 792: Animal Ecology/Behavior, and BIO/GOL 428: Capstone Seminar for Environmental Science students.

My professional interests and work include behavior and ecology, and collaborative research on Scaptodrosophilia in Australia. For more information about my research interests and current projects, please click here.
