I received my both my M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Geology from the University of Minnesota-Minneapolis, finishing in 1991. I have been at Syracuse University since that time.

I teach GOL 242: Environmental Geology, GOL 342/542: Geomorphology, and GOL 543: Quaternary Environments and Climate Change.

My professional interests and work focus on late quaternary glacial, limnologic, and climatic history of the tropical Andes. For more information about my research interests and current projects, please click here.
