Molly
B.S. received from S.U. May 2002

Molly, graduated in 2002"When I entered the Environmental Science program at Syracuse University, I didn't know what to expect but what I discovered was a caring and prepared faculty and a flexible course program. Environmental Science is a broad discipline, therefore it allowed me to explore different facets of biology through the core classes and other sciences such as chemistry, physics and geology. The classes I was able to take brought me to a greater understanding of how the earth works by incorporating all sciences. At the same time, the program allowed me to analyze current environmental and social problems that involve the vast knowledge of environmental science and policy. My four years at SU were well-rounded by Environmental Science which also allowed me to major in geography, a great complement to biology."

Ashley
B.S. received from S.U. December 2000

Ashley, graduated in 2000"I chose to complete a bachelor of science in Biology with an Emphasis on Environmental Science rather than a straight Biology degree from Syracuse University. I wanted to continue with graduate work in marine biology after graduating; the environmental aspect of my degree provided me with an introduction to environmental biology. I graduated Syracuse University with a well-rounded biological education. I am currently working to obtain my masters of science in Marine Biology from Florida Institute of Technology."
